We provide each donor with unique and individual ways to support the causes most important to them, such as supporting an artist who represents a particular country of origin, an artistic genre, or any other area of interest or program. Each sponsor receives multiple acknowledgements on our online and printed outlets.

Please know that your support for Omi stimulates international collaboration, furthers cultural discourse in the US, and provides rich international cultural offerings for the local community.

Year End Appeal

Make a gift to Omi International Art Center's Year End Appeal!

  • Where do you turn to experience world-class contemporary art in Columbia County, New York?

  • When you want to explore some of the most exciting and freshest voices in contemporary visual arts, music, dance, and literature from around the globe, where do you go?

If you're like most in our community, you go to Omi International Arts Center.

Why?

Because you know you will find that The Fields Sculpture Park and Architecture Omi are always free, and that our grounds are open every day from dawn to dusk. You also know that your entire family will be welcomed. With your children, friends, neighbors, you can enjoy exhibitions, concerts, artist talks, readings, dance performances, and open studio tours with international artists, all for very low admission fees or free!

In the spirit of internationalism, Omi started the year off with a concert by Sha'ar, led by Music Omi alumnus David Freeman. The band's multicultural jazz-fusion music attracted over 100 guests to the Visitors Center! It was a year of stellar artists in the Benenson Gallery and The Fields Sculpture Park, including alumna Joan Linder, Elizabeth Murray, Mary Heilmann, Clare Grill, Donald Baechler, Robert Montgomery, Alain Kirili, James Siena, and more. Dance Omi alumni returned upstate for Omi's collaboration with PS21 in Chatham to present exciting new works.

Over 1700 children of all ages
every year gain a love and appreciation of comtemporary art. Your gifts enable transformative residencies for 30 artists, 10 dancers, 15 musicians and 50 writers from all over the globe.

All of this is possible through the support of Friends like you. Simply put, we exist as a vital community resource because of you! This is why we are asking you to help us end 2015 on a strong note by making a donation to Omi's Year-End-Appeal.

Your gift is extremely important!
