New York City based Cassandra Jenkins, a songwriter who uses musical clarity and a smoldering sense of longing conveyed by her "smoky vocals" (as reviewed by NPR) to transcend her urban surroundings to connect to a deeper, quintessentially American vein of expression that showcases a sophisticated art heart and a mature point of view about the masks and complications of desire.

The Cafe Omi menu is lovingly prepared by Chef Rita Soares-Kern with organic and local ingredients from The Chatham Berry Farm and mimosas from Hillsdale Fine Wine & Spirits with fresh lavender from Ironwood Farm.

TJ Santiago has been a part of the Hudson Valley music scene for over a decade. He co-fronts the power house blues outfit, "The Black Dirt Band", which calls Orange County, N.Y., its home. T.J. has also been performing as a solo act playing in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. T.J. covers a wide variety of well-known artists and is a fledgling songwriter of his own original compositions. An approachable, affable and emotive performer, he continues to garner attention and rave reviews in the Hudson Valley music scene.

soundBarn is the experimental music duet of Thomas Lail and Patrick Wekalr. They have been mining the possibilities of guitar for years as they ply prepared and altered guitars, over-process signals and pile loops of sound to orchestrate an arching instrumental tale.

Sunday Music on the Patio: Jane Aquilina + Josh Conners

Jane Aquilina and Josh Conners, a local duo (guitar and vocals) bringing a versatility to classic standards, jazz and blues compositions. Josh is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist and composer. He can be seen and heard in local venues (Blue Plate, Half Moon) and various venues in the Hudson Valley. Jane is a recent transplant from New York City and very active in the cabaret community in Manhattan. She has been performing in various venues for the last 15 years including The Green Room 42, The Metropolitan Room and The Duplex. Josh and Jane are excited to make their debut at Art Omi.
